Anti aging Sexy no acne skin care treatements

The regular use of anti-ageing skin care products is becoming normal these days; as our lifespan increases so does our desire to remain active as well as look young and healthy. This is achieved in beauty products by promoting the growth of connective tissue using the protein collagen which is the most abundant in the skin of all animals; collagen is so abundant, it makes up about a quarter of the total protein content of structural protein found in skin. Collagen is a member of another family of substances that aid in reducing the signs of ageing. these are known as antioxidants which remove toxins from the body.

Although the benefits of vitamin C (an anti-oxidant) are well documented, it is still debated as to what our daily amount should be. The main problem when using any skin care treatments which use vitamin C is that oxidization can occur as soon as they have contact with the air.

Other skin care treatments which mimic the effects of vitamin C are being tried all the time which are hoped to be more stable in the atmosphere and also cheaper to produce. Although these products are good, they cannot actually compare with vitamin C but fortunately vitamin E and alpha-lipoic acid are also anti-oxidants so can be used to gain the same effect.

Vitamin E is an antioxidant and component of human blood whose purpose is to help increase the body’s immune system; it helps build resistance against infection like cancer for example. On the other hand, lipoic acid or alpha-lipoic acid is necessary for energy production which keeps us alive; it is also known to combat the signs of aging very effectively by repairing skin damage caused by the aging process.

General or preventative acne products form a large section of the skin care market; these include cleansers, make-up removers and other similar products that can help prevent the condition. Whilst many sufferers use these products there are even more who just want to keep their skin clean and conditioned; in many instances the user has never had a skin condition to worry about. More specialized cleaners are designed in the same way as acne skin care products; they are formulated to reduce and limit the amount of oil in the pores of our skin. Excess oil needs to be stopped from clogging the pores as this oil make it easier for bacteria to grow, exacerbating the condition.

This type of skin care treatment also includes those which exfoliate such as skin peels; most can even be purchased over the Internet in addition to normal outlets. They work by reducing oil plus other contaminants from the skin and in the pores; this can reduce harmful bacteria and stop their chance of growth. There is a huge market for these types of acne skin care products as they don’t require a consultation with a dermatologist. A bacterium that aids the formation of acne is stopped by creams and cleansers that contain benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid; they work by removing the excess oil from the skin and halt the growth of acne.

Another group of products used to reduce the visible signs of ageing are phytochemicals which are compounds extracted from various plants and used in many anti-ageing skin care products. Phytochemicals prevent occurrence of certain types of cancer; examples of these are:

*Cancer of the Prostate
*Cancer of the Breast
*Colon Cancer

These are all on the increase around the world.

Other vitamins from the B group are also used in anti-ageing skin care like vitamins B5, B6 and B12 for example. The use of anti-ageing skin care products is a huge scientific field to research and has far greater potential than just producing goods that reduce the visible signs of age. Whilst a great deal has been learned about this subject, it is only the tip of the iceberg; more long term effective methods will eventually be found to reverse or slow down the effects of aging.

The amount of research going on in this field will undoubtedly bring results in time, hopefully bringing down the cost of these anti-ageing skin care products in addition to increasing their reliability. A person should never accept that everything science devises in relation to skin care and anti-aging is always going to be the best; we must not forget however, that there are many more natural methods we can all use to reduce the signs of aging on a regular basis. Regular sleep patterns, exercise, a good healthy diet and less stress will all contribute to reducing the signs of ageing, for instance!

Sexy skin restoration and care

The psychological harm acne or Zits causes it’s many sufferers should not be underestimated; although it undoubtedly causes distress, a number of topical remedies are available. Owing the widespread nature of this condition, scientific research into this area is intense; recent medical advancements are, in fact, proving to be very effective in treating this condition. The acne skin care products available fall into these:

  • Preventive
  • Over-the-counter: Treatment
  • Prescription only treatments

General or preventative acne products form a large section of the skin care market; these products can be anything from skin cleansers to makeup removers. In the real sense, these products are just those that should be part of your daily routine; many use these products to protect their skin from the environment even if they do not have the acne condition. Many of these cleansers act in almost exactly the same way as acne skin care products; they ensure the facial pores (and other areas) remain free of oil. These skin care products are designed to prevent this from happening.

Skin care treatments such as exfoliation skin peels, clean the skin and help control the spread of the condition; there is now a variety of this type of product available over the counter. This type of peel helps reduce the chance of oil clogging up the pores as well as removing other skin impurities; this can reduce the bacterium growth on your skin. There are specialized acne skin care products available over-the-counter, they do not require the need of a prescription. Treatments that are effective contain the ingredients benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid; these include creams, cleansers and peels that slow down acne formation.

Dermatologists recommend any product should have low concentrations of the active ingredient benzoyl peroxide (no more than 5.5 parts per hundred) if there is an adverse reaction; a safer alternative to benzoyl peroxide is anything containing alpha hydroxy acid. It is not always possible to find an acne skin care product that works first time; if none of them work then you would be advised to contact your skin specialist. There are benefits of seeing your doctor or dermatologist, they can prescribe you with a prescription for treatments not available over the counter, for example a course of antibiotics.

Under certain circumstances, having the infected material removed from the pores under a local anesthetic may be suggested by your dermatologist; never try to squeeze your zits however, as it can lead to permanent damage of your skin. Your doctor may even suggest a course of hormone therapy as a skin care treatment; hormone changes are known to be one cause of acne. With all the treatments available, tackling acne is not that difficult as there are many new products available to help.
